Stivers School for the Arts Annual Photography Auction Fundraiser

Dayton, Ohio - Stivers High School was founded in 1908. Stivers School for the Arts encompasses grades 7–12 (the only such public school in the school district) and offers programs in music, dance, theater, creative writing, choir, and visual arts. Students must audition to be admitted. The school currently has around 800 students in grades 7-12. The Photography Department is having their annual fundraiser, Exposure on March 16th. The highlight of the evening will be a silent auction, with the final bid beginning at 8:30 p.m. Stolen Shadows is pleased to have been able to donate a photograph (Starry Waters) to the auction and hope for a successful event for the department. Find more information on the auction at http://www.stivers.org/photo/ and the school at http://www.stivers.org/ .

Fireworks Gallery

North Vancouver – It is finally here! The long promised photographs of The Celebration of Light are now in a gallery of their very own. The Celebration of Light is the largest fireworks competition in the world. Last year it ran July 26, 29, August 2 and 5. I had the opportunity to photograph some of the event from Vanier Park. Visit the Fireworks Gallery to see the results.
